Performance issues on Fairphone

I use Librera on Fairphone 4 5G with Android 13.

Unfortunately, the app performs horribly:

1. It often freezes and needs to be restarted.
2. When I open PDFs, I often only get blank pages instead of the content, which does not happen with other reader apps I tested.
3. Overall, the app seems to react very slowly.

I tried finding answers in different forums but couldn't get anywhere. As of now, the app is unusable for me.
