How to use the fields' quick button?

So I use this app to make my card. If I select any text on the PDF, then the quick button shown in the picture appears above the field. And I would like to use these options when I fill up my card fields. For example, I select any text on the PDF and I press the CTRL+1 then the selected text is moved to the specified field. I see this option exists but it doesn't work for me. How do I set these up? I hope this helps you with what I'd like to?

Sorry for the late answer! I cannot tell why it doesn't work for you, it should work right out of the box without any setup. What Anki version are you on? Does the issue persist with other (editor-altering) add-ons disabled? There is definitely something wrong, because I can see some icons repeated in your screenshot, while there should be one icon for each field.
