Feature request: Backup to Cloud

  1. Is it possible to use a cloud backup so I can use this on multiple computers? Id like to save the highlights and other data. I use zotero csvs to add new pdfs.
  2. I have duplicates, is there an easy way to remove a pdf?

You can ignore request 2, I fixed it by reverting the database to an older backup and then manually updating the locations of the files.

Hi, there is no cloud integration of any kind at the moment, sorry. You could of course have your pdfs and the add-on's database file (siac-notes.db) in something like a dropbox folder, whose location is equal on your two machines. But I think the syncing won't play well with the database file, and you might run into problems.

Thanks for your response. I have the pdfs backed up, but I was worried about the database being corrupted. I've seen this specifically being recommended against.

You have a really nice tool. Some of it I dont really need, but I like how the card creation is very native to Anki.

Ive been using polar, but its a bit messy with the card aspects. They might improve it sometime soon though.
