When will relay be rolled into GA

I see the feature/relay branch is what you need to install in order to use Relay. Is there an intention to merge that branch into master or will it always be separate? If so, when are you aiming to merge the two?

If I'm starting work on a new API I'd like to use Relay (but won't need to at least initially) and it seems like the feature/relay branch is not quite ready for production. Is that correct or are you confident in using it?

This issue is quite old with no response from a maintainer or contributor. Is anyone in a position to provide me an answer or roadmap?
I'm willing to help out with any extra work that's required, assuming that rolling relay into the main branch is desired (I hope so :pray:)
