Neovim version (nvim -v)

0.10.1

Operating system/version

Arch Linux

Describe the bug

When using the cmdline of noice.nvim, it will expand when there is not enough space. This works fine, until you try to expand it too much. When the size of the cmdline reaches the full width of the screen, it keeps expanding only on the right side. I think there is a border on the left side, that should also be on the right side. This will lead to the "Cmdline" text at the top of the cmdline eventually moving out of the screen.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Use the noice.nvim plugin with the Cmdline enabled
  2. Open the Cmdline
  3. Type characters until you see the "Cmdline" text on top of the cmdline moving away

Expected Behavior

The text staying at the right place and having a border on the right.

Repro

vim.env.LAZY_STDPATH = ".repro"
load(vim.fn.system("curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/folke/lazy.nvim/main/bootstrap.lua"))()

require("lazy.minit").repro({
  spec = {
    { "folke/noice.nvim", opts = {} },
    -- add any other plugins here
  },
})

Yep, this affects #970 which is a big bummer when creating new files.

Closing this since fixed in c49a4b0. This seems to be the same issue as #959
