What's the full output of `:checkhealth snacks`? And what is your actual dpi scale in wayland, xorg? Also `$GDK_SCALE`, `$GDK_DPI_SCALE`, `$QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR`? Which DE are you using?
And what about `QT_SCALE_FACTOR`, `GDK_SCALE`, ...? Or even better, what are related things from `env`?

What terminal do you use? Snacks does not scale-down the image, that's your terminal. Math on my laptop are all very smooth:
