Agreed. Android has had these in the default calculator apps for a long time, in [Calculator](https://android.googlesource.com/platform/packages/apps/Calculator/) and then [Exact Calculator](https://android.googlesource.com/platform/packages/apps/ExactCalculator/). Powers, pi etc. are certainly needed.

Some info which may help with bugfixing this and #158 is that these issues are related not only to HDPI, but also Display Size and Font Size settings as well....
Same here. Font cut off at the top.
