Adding feed from SharePoint List returns 'The URL entered does not appear to be a valid RSS/Atom feed.'

On Windows 8, connecting to an RSS Feed from Microsoft SharePoint. The URL does not end in .xml, rather it is an ASPX page that returns a valid RSS 2.0 feed.

The SharePoint site is protected by NTLM security, it prompts for credentials then immediately shows the above error.

I have done. Some of feed engines don't accept custom user-agent. change user-agent to browser's user-agent(chrome or firefox).
