FoFix doesn't handle multi-monitor setup properly
I've a dual-screen setup and when using fullscreen mode, FoFix is only able to extend in both monitors, instead of giving the possibility of showing fullscreen on only one of them or handle them with separate views.
I'm not sure why this would be happening. I run dual monitors on several operating systems and have no issues. If you don't mind giving some more information like your OS, etc.
The only thing that comes to mind with this is if you have eyefininity or nvidia surround enabled, so both monitors are seen as one by operating system. That would only be something that would apply to windows though.
No, I'm using radeon/intel open source drivers in Ubuntu
Alright, here soon ill install a copy ubuntu on my laptop, and see if i can replicate this. I normally run arch on it with cinnamon.
Alright, so for me fullscreen mode just doesn't seem to work at all in ubuntu(unity) so it may not be a multi monitor issue? Works fine in cinnamon on my arch install though.
I'm an Unity/Compiz developer, so feel free to go further with details. However, in unity we don't apply any special policy to full screen windows, and all the other games I've tested had no issues with it.
Do you get the same also in unity flashback session (pure compiz)?
It could be an issue with pygame. Looking around to find other games that use it could test that.
However in saying that, I am wanting to move away from pygame since it is rarely updated.
Hi! I've just tried to launch the game in fullscreen while I'm using 2 screens and the window was only on my first screen. My window manager is awesomeWM. Which version (date / commit) did you used ? Wihich version of pygame did you used (me: 1.9.3) ? Is it working for you now with the version in master ? Thanks :).
