Consider some engagement with the LibreOffice project
Hello afrim developers,
I'm an active participant in LibreOffice - not a developer, but active on matters related to Right-to-Left languages - filing bugs, doing a bit of QA, raising awareness, lurking on the Telegram channels for RTL, Arabic and Hebrew etc.
Now, LibreOffice has the aim of catering to language communities all over the world, and indeed is both popular and has many active participants in places like Latin America and SE Asia. Unfortunately - that is really not the case for Africa, and regarding African scripts (written languages). The organization behind LibreOffice, The Document Foundation, has almost no African trustees (there may be one or two Egyptians); one doesn't see African participants or speakers in conferences; and African scripts are somewhat "orphaned" in terms of developer and power-user attention.
I believe both LibreOffice, and dare I say African script users overall, would benefit if people involved with facilitating the use of African scripts/dialects would engage with the project to some extent - if only, perhaps, to point out some noteworthy bugs; or even to make sure the afrim IME is usable with LibreOffice.

I tested afrim on LibreOffice (Windows & Linux X) and it works well. The issue that we have actually, it's on Linux Wayland. It will take time, but we projected to fix it before the next release.
