Good Thought! This needs to be done. A better way may be an animation of a 'check' icon in the middle. Like a big green tick. See some other ideas on Dribble and such.

Since you've already started another pull request, the file changes are getting updated in the previous PR. In order to start a new PR, you'll have to create another branch and do your changes (commits) on that branch
