Currently it's not possible to eject a volume/drive?

Not yet, no. It should be quite easy to implement this as a plugin.

Even more, it is impossible to eject an external drive (USB stick) in windows when fman has visited the drive until fman is closed.

That is, even if the directory is not active in fman anymore, windows will give a 'this device is currently in use'. So it seems fman leaves a file handle open of recent directories or something like that.

@hugobuddel I fixed this now in fman 1.5.5. Please let me know if it works for you.

Oh great @mherrmann! Should have tested the latest version first. I don't have a usb drive handy at the moment, so please assume the problem I raised is fixed unless you hear otherwise.

1.5.5 is brand new, so you couldn't have tested it yet :-) I'll assume it fixed then.
