IMHO new features aren't always bad. However we should be reminded that no single additional click should be added to the primary workflow. Make snapdrop more robust, add wisely choosen...

Maybe as a compromise, show the group twice? Once with the checked lists at the top and once further down...
I'm suggesting to only let the group appear twice, not it's items... I think this is slightly different.
