Tyrian - Speed Issue

This runs much better with L2 off and set to medium details for good gamespeed

Speed issue verified, it seems like it starts fine and then speeds up and slows down. Not sure what combination to go with between the in game settings from Pentium, medium and the cache.

Are we locked in on medium and L2. And then 90Mhz and L1 on correct?

Same problem also here. Tried with some combination of settings (frequency, L1 and L2) and also multiple Turbo Modes. Same problems here. OP combination seem to work best.
