[Windows+WindowsTerminal] WT gets captured "wrong" and doesn't appear

When I press Ctrl+1 for the Windows terminal, it drops down like 50 times and then hangs. I tried to set up another app, but it wouldn't save my config, so it's unusable for me. How did you guys get it to work? Not even the basic example config functions correctly.
