Remove mouse cursor and disable Windows hotkeys

Open Gorilli09 opened this issue 7 months ago • 1 comments

When emulating the Dreamcast with a keyboard and mouse, there are some errors when emulating. When the mouse cursor goes to the edge of the screen, the emulated Dreamcast Mouse stops moving. And there are some Dreamcast Keyboard games that use the S1, S2, and S3 keys which are basically the Windows and context keys. When pressing the Windows key, it enables Windows hotkeys causing the application to go out of focus.

You can capture the mouse with Left CTRL+Left ALT so it's not blocked by the edges of the screen and doesn't click outside the window.

Regarding the keyboard, if some keys are used by your operating system and not delivered to Flycast, there is nothing it can do about it. You can try to use the Raw Input API but I don't think it will help in this area. Check the Windows settings to see if and how these hotkeys can be changed.

WHY CAN'T YOU MAKE THE MOUSE CURSOR INVISIBLE AND LOCK IT IN THE CENTER OF THE WINDOW PERMANENTLY LIKE EVERY OTHER EMULATOR?!
