There are several work-arounds:

1. (recommended) Use a real BIOS
2. Go to Settings > Advanced > CPU Mode > SH4 Clock and set it to 180.
3. When you're stuck on the loading screen, go to Settings > Advanced > CPU Mode and select Interpreter. Resume the game and wait until the loading screen is gone, then switch the setting back to Dynarec.
