Crazy Taxi 1/2 very fast load in Retroarch!
I'm using your emulator via Retroarch and noticed that the Crazy Taxi 1/2 game switches from the main menu to the character selection menu too quickly.
The "GD-ROM fast loading" option is disabled.
What should I do?
is that it..... its switching from the main menu... to the char screen "too fast"? what does that even mean? what is happening,. and how is it "to fast"?
some games in the RA core, due to the way that obviously the emulators are faster then the dreamcast, some of these pauses, or timming line ups, were built around the DC hardwares time limitations, but with out thoes, some times screens load faster then expected because, again, hardware of the DC had the speed bottleneck but here that dont exist. so depending on how the game was designed, we might have something like this. It tends to happen more on Retroarch then standalone too. So it has something to do with Retro Arch.
you might fix this by turning off THREDED RENDERING, slowing down the emulation.... but you might hurt performance. idt the trade off is worth it, but try it!
