Description of the Issue

Missing texts & invisible objects (sometimes replaced by black boxes)

For instance, the text in the Ikaruga menu, bullets and some objets in Border Down

Debugging Steps Tested

I tried to enable / disable every single core option

I can't reproduce the issue (RA 1.17 glcore, Nvidia gtx 1080):

It might be a GPU issue but I would recommend testing with a fresh default configuration for both RA and the flycast core. This would rule out any problem due to a configuration option or setting.

Hi ! Thank you so much for your prompt reply. So : I deleted everything ; reinstalled the latest RA & flycast core : same result. On this same device, I have some quite complex OpenGL & Vulkan apps which work flawlessly (Dolphin for instance). Take care & thank you so much for your work :-)

BTW, flycast core crashes quickly in Vulkan mode so I couldn't check if the same issue occurred in Vulkan. Cheers !

Testing with an old RA version (1.10.3) on Android, I have similar issues with Soul Calibur, but only when using OpenGL. Vulkan works fine (and doesn't crash).

This should be fixed in the next master build. Note that the same issue happens with standalone.
