I don't know if it will help, but I found a way to prevent the noise from occurring.

Once loaded, the scene shown in the image below will be displayed, so press the A button quickly to skip the message. If successful, the sound will be played clear, but if unsuccessful, another noise will occur or the sound will disappear on the battle map.

As with the method in #1278, enabling FastGDRomLoad or always running small transfers will not completely resolve the issue, but it will most likely play normally. I feel like the timing of when you press the button determines whether it works or not.
