Sorry this just launched the app and did not produce console output.
I have experienced similar issues
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Install using Flatpak
- On Surface Go2
- Work for a few minutes the lose input
Instead of this, in my case the steps would be something like this:
- install from flatpak (on a Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1)
- Fold the laptop to enter tablet mode
- run Rnote and start writing with stylus
- get out of tablet mode and open some other app
- go back to tablet mode
- open Rnote
Now rnote will not work with stylus
I believe it is due to palm rejection issues. Though I am far out my league in regards to touch surface and stylus handlers. I have started using scrivano as a note taking app on linux and it works well enough and has far better performance than Rnote but it would be nice to see this project overtake it since scrivano is closed source.
oops!
With the new Ubuntu 22.10, this issue is gone for me.

Sadly my tablet was stolen in Germany 😢
Oh ;-; That's sad to hear...
Very sad, I miss it so I might get a newer surface device, if so I will test again!
