Great addition if it can be used in an Ipad

I have been impressed with the app and loved a lot of things about it. If we can have it in ipad and use with pencil , it would be a game changer

Well, unfortunately this isn't going to happen very soon

• Either gtk4, the toolkit we use is ported to ios (and everything around like the build tools to be able to compile everything)
  • This is partially true for android, but afaik it's not yet to the point we can propose an android version outright.
• We use some other toolkit in the future that can support ios (replacing gtk4): This is not planned for now
• We make the rnote-engine work without gtk and only need a different ui part
  • This may happen if we succeed in making changes to the rendering part (and make it more gpu based). That would make rnote more portable here. But I'd still be wary of having multiple rnote-ui implementations for different platforms for maintainability/code duplication

So it's kinda not planned for now, but maybe this can be revisited in the future depending on what else happens here (rendering part) and elsewhere (toolkit ports or new toolkits)
