Better touchscreen multitouch support

When I enable the option to draw by touch input, Rnote allows me to draw by simply swiping my finger across the touchscreen. If I use two fingers, Rnote jumps from one finger to the other when I draw, or draws a sort of sawtooth line, but it doesn't handle the fact that I swiped with two fingers (not one) in any useful way (unless you consider the aforementioned behaviour to be useful).

What would seem intuitive to me is that if I swiped with 2 fingers while the option to draw with touch input was enabled, RNote would move the page and zoom according to the fingers.

Rnote already does this sort of thing with the touchpad on my notebook when I use 2 fingers, it just doesn't allow zooming, only movement.

• When swiping with 2 fingers on a touchpad, also allow zooming based on how the distance of the fingers has changed from their original distance.
• Apply the same behaviour from touchpad to touch input (with 2 fingers) when the draw by touch option is enabled.

Is there any update on this? Rnote is basically unusable on a touchscreen for this reason.

It is usable. I use it with a passive pen, however the ability to drag and pinch to zoom with 2 fingers would be appreciated. Currently I have to constantly flick between the pen mode and move mode in the bottom bar.
