Sidekick "Custom IDE" set Android Studio Not Working

In my MacBook m1 pro, I cant seems to add android studio as the custom ide. i tried to point the application also a video I found in the GitHub issue but still no luck. it just opens the folder instead of IDE.

Can you screen record yourself setting the ide as the target?
