Steps to reproduce

1. Create new flutter project in android studio Hedgehog
2. add plugin using command 'flutter pub add android_alarm_manager_plus'
3. click pub get
4. connect android device in debugging mode but not detected by android studio
5. go to project structure -> change project sdk to API 34
6. Connected device now detected
7. run the app
8. now we are getting the gradle build error

Then got following errors

this error gone but i still have ton of "incompatible version of Kotlin" with most of plugins because of lately android 14 release but now build is successful at least now i using these versions:

I have same problem with android_alarm_manager_plus 3.0.4.

I changed ext.kotlin_version from 1.7.10 to 1.8.0-Beta in my build.gradle: ext.kotlin_version = '1.8.0-Beta'

I think that this solution should be temporary.

I have not yet managed to get my alarm_manager to work, and I don’t know if this is related to the update of the Kotlin version. But the error disappeared.

The solution given by @websytnik fixes the issue. You can actually upgrade to the latest Kotlin version, found it here: https://kotlinlang.org/docs/releases.html#release-details

I've got the 1.9.23 for example, and it works well.

It's on the /android/build.gradle

It seems that you can add the section if it doesn't exist, right above plugins

I've tried a couple of the fixes suggested here and elsewhere in the other branches of that repo. None of them work. I've also tried to clone share_plus and modify its version of Kotlin there, but that didn't work either.

i solved it by changing the android/settings.gradle file

just upgrade kotlin version with the version mentioned in your error or higher
