DevTools - no Flutterflow_Debug_Panel shown anymore

I am no longer getting the Flutterflow_Debug_Panel and local variables view in the dev tools. The Flutter devtools (website) is only showing the upper part of the page where only CPU and dart version information but no longer the section of the variables.

Am I correct in diagnosing this as an issue specifically related to an extension screen not showing up?
