Title of a URL

Thanks for the useful FF addon Is it possible also to pull the Title of a URL ?

It would technically be possible. But all the information you can now get is taken from the link text, not from the page it points to. So we would need to request the webpage and then parse it for the title.

I'm just curious, can you show an example where you would need that feature?

Or did I misunderstand, is the title in the URL itself? If it's, then you can get it already.

was trying to use "redirect-link" to bookmark webpages and save them with the page title in an extra app
