Attribute Selector Select all elements that have a specific attribute

[attribute] Attributes appear inside the opening tag of an element, like this: span attribute="value". An attribute does not always have a value, it can be blank! Examples

a[href] selects all a elements that have a href="anything" attribute. [type] selects all elements that have a type="anything". attribute

based on what I'm given I have absolutely no idea what you are asking for in terms of "Select the items for someone." While you have given examples they are not clear as to how I go about selecting items for vague someone.

Hi there :) The question is "Select the items for someone" I was believing that the attribute was something to do with either the item on the plates, the plates or the persons name but I figured it out that its the FOR that is the most important.

The answer that then worked for me was:

[for]

thats all I put and it worked! :)

I'm sorry the examples were unclear @teethnclaws - I'll work on updating them. After having read @michelle-buckby's suggestion, what would be a better way of explaining it?

What about...

  • Select all of the items meant for specific people
  • Select all of the items made for someone

Cheers!

The [for] answer did work. I appreciate the suggestion. The game is very fun, helpful. I love any learning tool that will allow for a little playtime. You should continue to make more games like this if possible.

As for making Level 27 more clear, yes perhaps Select all of the items meant for specific people. Having reviewed it, I would have never thought to assigned the [href] as [for].

Thanks!
