How to use 2013 theme? Do I need to downgrade the version?

Environment

- Fluent.Ribbon: 11.0.1
- Windows 10
- .NET 8.0

I've seen it removed, but what should I do if I still want to use the 2013 theme?

You can either

  • Copy the parts you need and build + maintain your own theme
  • Port the old theme(s) to a newer version of Fluent.Ribbon
  • Keep using an old version of Fluent.Ribbon

Which things of the old theme do you need exactly? Maybe you can just modify a few settings to get the desired results.

I want to apply the old theme to the ribbon at the top.

I want to apply the old theme to the ribbon at the top.

That sounds like you need everything from the old theme. Then you'll have to copy the sources of the old theme and adapt it to newer versions of Fluent.Ribbon.

I'm using version 4.0.3.394. I tried to copy the theme to the latest version, but I gave up because I got so many errors.

What's your expectation then?

I'd like to use the 2013 theme in the latest version, but version 4.0 is fine. Is there any problem with using version 4.0? Like a fatal problem.

If you want to use the theme in the latest version you have to do/port it yourself.

Version 4 was released in 2016. I am very sure there are problems when using it on newer Windows versions. It's also not compatible with .NET Core.
