Forward logs from pod to kafka via fluentd

I am trying to export the logs of a pod in Kafka, using fluentd operator and ClusterFlow configuration. What I mean by that is that I want to collect some logs from an app and export them in json format to Kafka, but my app knows to generate logs in json format only if they are sent to a tcp socket. I searched for some examples on how to do that using tcp plugin and also inputs section, but with no luck. Also, I haven't seen a solution or an example for my use case. Are you willing to offer support on the matter?
