In terms of metrics types and parsing ability, can you give a brief comparison in README?

I'm excited to see the tool! I knew it for the first time. I haven't used it yet, so I cannot make a comparison. Welcome any comments.

Here's a quick stab, I could be wrong as well as I've not directly used mtail but I've heard it mentioned quite a bit and I think I understand how its meant to be used.

Option Route
Operation fluent-plugin Runs as part of fluentd and offers metrics (for prometheus).
Operation mtail Binary runs separate from fluentd and offers metrics (for prometheus). Does not utilize fluentd.
Configure metrics fluent-plugin Use standard fluent config and terminology, e.g. tags, filter, match
Configure metrics mtail Use Regular expressions.
