Target is down

From time to time, some of the fluentd pods target become down and not returned - until the pod is restarted:

There is no error shown in the logs, so I find it a bit hard to investigate.

what's your scrape interval and timeout settings?

I have the same issue, some targets go down in Prometheus.

scrape_interval: 30s scrape_timeout: 10s

it tooks a lot of time to scrape the metrics.
