Feature request: allow controlling ClusterFilters to run after namespace Filters

I want to perform some additional filters after namespaced filters have already been applied. Today I cannot do this.

Allow a field in the ClusterFilter spec that can control whether ClusterFilter runs before or after the namespace Filter chain.

This is kind-of related to #1384 but it doesn't really solve for this use-case.
As I understand it, ordinals only affect ordering within a single filter type (clusterfilter or filter), and not across both. Is there any ETA on this feature?
I haven't worked with fluent-bit or fluent-operator the past 8 months, so I could not spend effort on this. Anyone is free to contribute if they feel it's necessary for them.
