For instance, envision a feature where users can add their Bitcoin (BTC) account, input the quantity they possess, and then, leveraging a stock data API such as Polygon.io, automatically calculate the current value of their holdings in their preferred currency.

That is a really good idea! I think it will be made its way in the app at some point
I'm searching for free services to get data from the actual value of each stock or crypto.
The idea is to multiply the value for the amount owned in each crypto or trade account.
I think this is a good starting point.
