With regard to #850 and #846 and with no updates in the last 6 months I am under the impression that this project might not be maintained anymore .. hopefully I am mistaking.

thanx, yes, I tried that, but on iOS the just_audio library does not play in background mode , even whem comfigured with audio_serviice
