Plugin server not communicating (does not work with LiveReload2 plugins?)

The Chrome LiveReload plugin reports "Could not connect to LiveReload server. Please make sure that LiveReload 2.3 (or later) or another compatible server is running." Using Version 25.0.1337.0 dev of Chrome, under OSX Lion 10.7.5 .

lsof -i :35729 indicates the process is indeed listening on the default port. I'm guessing that the new livereload2 plugins expect a different protocol and don't recognize older 3rd party servers.

Yes I haven't gotten around to updating it. Will do that in the next couple of weeks, probably during christmas holidays
