I just left a comment in #4 about a tutorial/intro, should have left it here oops!
Ah, so there is some code that tries to vary this by the platform, with a default to `make` (and only uses `nmake` if it detects the platform is Windows)...
Per https://github.com/railsware/js-routes/issues/319, this is fixed in js-routes 2.3.0
