Describe the Bug
I have my bookmarks sorted in folders. Folder names consist of only letters and numbers except one folder which is named liked this: *EXAMPLE*
From Firefox i have no problem accessing all my bookmarks. In the Android app on the other hand, i can open all conventionally named folders, but the one folder named with asterisks can't be opened. If i click on it, it only becomes highlighted but nothing else happens.
Maybe we should take a closer look, if other symbols are also affected.
Expected Behavior
It should open just like any other folder.
To Reproduce
- Open the Android app
- Rename a folder like this scheme:
*EXAMPLE* - The folder named with asterisks shouldn't open now, where as any other should.
Debug log provided

Hello
Thank you for taking the time to open this issue with floccus. I know it's frustrating when software causes problems. You have made the right choice to come here and open an issue to make sure your problem gets looked at and if possible solved. I'm Marcel and I created floccus and have been maintaining it ever since. I currently work for Nextcloud which leaves me with less time for side projects like this one than I used to have. I still try to answer all issues and if possible fix all bugs here, but it sometimes takes a while until I get to it. Until then, please be patient. Note also that GitHub is a place where people meet to make software better together. Nobody here is under any obligation to help you, solve your problems or deliver on any expectations or demands you may have, but if enough people come together we can collaborate to make this software better. For everyone. Thus, if you can, you could also have a look at other issues to see whether you can help other people with your knowledge and experience. If you have coding experience it would also be awesome if you could step up to dive into the code and try to fix the odd bug yourself. Everyone will be thankful for extra helping hands! One last word: If you feel, at any point, like you need to vent, this is not the place for it; you can go to the forum, to twitter or somewhere else. But this is a technical issue tracker, so please make sure to focus on the tech and keep your opinions to yourself.
I look forward to working with you on this issue Cheers :blue_heart:
Mmh, I can't seem to reproduce this. Maybe the reason is rather the contents of the folder than the title?
Could you otherwise perhaps share an export of your bookmarks with my privately?
Sorry for taking so long for a respone. I hope you can understand that i don't want to share my very private bookmarks with anyone except myself =D
But as far as contents of it is concerned, I've noticed that i have a lot of "about:about" (Firefox intern al page) bookmarks. Maybe that could be the culprit?! I'll try something and let you know when i'm finished.
Edit: Deleting all duplicate about:about bookmarks didn't help. Seems i have to try some other things. I'll try to keep you updated.

Of course, that's one of the reasons floccus exists :)
@RAPXT Any news on this?
Yes, in the meantime i did reflash and resetup my android. Now it works (even with asterisks). The folder opens a bit slower, but that maybe because of very many bookmarks. Other than that, everything works as expected. Apologies for that non-error.
