Please allow to go back and forward in history from Reader mode
With new Safari update, it's really awesome that you can set some websites to open automatically in Reader mode.
However there is an issue that goBack and goForward don't work whilst you are in Reader mode from sVim. However going back and forward menu bar actions do work so it is a bug in sVim.
Would be really awesome if it could be added. Thank you.
I had a look at it. Failed to find way to fix.
sVim use history.back() history.forward() to navigation through history.
It seems Reader view is a special page in safari that start a new history line.
Calling history.back() history.forward() won't work as expected.
The back and forward button must have done some tricks. And safari extension js doesn't provide powerful enough API to do the same thing.
