Certain buttons don't open with 'createHint' and 'createTabbedHint'
Is there a way I can help you fix this issue myself. Perhaps guide me in a direction as I would really love to improve this extension. It has a few bugs and missing features but overall it is amazing.

Sorry I haven't worked on this project in a while, mostly because I lost interest. But I'd be willing to accept merge requests.
It's just that for me sVim is probably the most important and most used extension that I have. I would really love if it had these few issues fixed as it is such a great alternative to vimium and I found it better than vimari.
I would love to make a merge request with a fix for this, can you advise perhaps on where I can start with? I tried looking at the source of it and I am feeling quite lost.

Well thanks! Honestly I was supposed to rewrite the entire create hint plugin but never got around to it. It's mostly code from a different project so I can't really tell you where to start. Maybe since it's getting more and more users I'll start working on it again sometime.

The inconsistency of searched hint not always working is quite a big deal breaker in my workflow.
@nikitavoloboev The next time this happens, can you provide an example of the HTML for the button that sVim can't open? sVim had a problem targeting form elements for a long time, which should be fixed in 1.0.5 (https://github.com/flipxfx/sVim/releases/tag/1.0.5). Would you mind giving that release a try?
