Logo attempt
Albin pointed out that it would be nice to have a logo for FLINT so here is an attempt. If everything works correctly the logo should appear in the HTML docs sidebar and on the PDF docs cover.
The speedometer showing something close to but not quite infinity symbolizes that FLINT is very fast but that there are always more things to optimize. I tried a version with more funny numbers shown on the dial but that just looked cluttered.
Tikz source code so it's easy to make tweaks.

Super nice! I can try to create a favicon next week!
If something simpler is better, this was another idea I had:
@fredrik-johansson In your second proposal, it is hard to see "fast" on the speedometer. If you could center the bottom of the square-root (as if it was pinned) and rotate it so that its right top points to the red zone I think it would be better.
And to make it simpler, I would even make 3 versions (without text, with "FLINT" only and the one you proposed).

- ball bearing symbolizes smooth, efficient operation of machine
- suggestive of finite ring; unit circle
- also illustrates "ball arithmetic"
Versions with 5 and 7 balls, flat and sphere shaded balls:
