mangohud disables vsync/frame limit initially despite no relevant configuration

Describe the bug mangohud disables vsync/frame limit initially despite no relevant configuration

List relevant hardware/software information

  • Arch Linux
  • MangoHud 0.8.1-1
  • AMD Radeon RX 7600

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: I've observed this both in basic raylib application I created and Steam games, Jupiter Hell for example (https://steamdb.info/app/811320/)

  1. start Jupiter Hell with no custom launch options (vsync enabled in game config previously), Steam overlay fps counter shows 180 (my monitor refresh rate)
  2. start Jupiter Hell with mangohud, both mangohud and Steam FPS counter shows ~800FPS
  3. toggling in-game vsync setting off and on again enables it again making the FPS stick to 180

Expected behavior expecting the game to start with vsync on as configured when no vsync setting is specified in mangohud config

Additional context

cat .config/MangoHud/MangoHud.conf time position=top-right #gl_vsync=1 #vsync=3
