Useful for situations where another host on the local network has a GPS available and the remote `gpsd` has been configured to allow remote clients (`-G` flag in `gpsd`).

Ring ... Ring ... Debian has just release trixie, and so did raspian (on July, 16th, 2025) I tried the switch, only to discover that the update would wipe out...
this is a brand new install with image downloaded recently. Last I saw, there was a thread in 2023 saying that this should have been fixed, and was a problem...
Updated to 10.1 SD card image and copied my working config over, but it would not reconnect. Assumed it has something to do with the change from ifupdown to NetworkManager...
It would be nice if piaware-status would report the GPS information, at least as it does in the web UI's status.json: https://github.com/flightaware/piaware/blob/0cea9bbe483f8a15c1b6a5e4883072d8df1ff8b4/programs/piaware/statusfile.tcl#L166
