This misrepresentation must stop! 
I ran into this issue and installing the [symbola](https://search.nixos.org/packages?channel=24.05&show=symbola&from=0&size=50&sort=relevance&type=packages&query=symbola) font has resolved it. Edit - Just read the comment above :facepalm:

You should use the .deb published in the GitHub Release page to install on Parrot OS.
