How do I enable sensitive messages?

Good evening,

For some reason sensitive messages are censored in your app even though I deactivated that on the official app and haven't found anything to turn that off. Is there even a way to turn that off?

I'm on Android 16 with One UI 8.0 and am using the Play Store version. Should I switch to the F-Droid version or is there any other way to turn off hiding sensitive messages?
