  • Updated the intro to this guide.
  • I added a note directing users to "Seamless MDM migration."
  • Updated the requirements section.

@georgekarrv, this guide only covers macOS migration. How do I request an update to include Windows MDM?

I don't believe we have ever had to support a Windows migration. Windows is not as strict in terms of limiting the host to 1 mdm server and it doesn't have any user interaction to enroll. We might want to make a guide on how to switch over but there currently isn't a tested workflow like we have to have for Apple.

Thanks, @georgekarrv. As part of the catchup project to document and dogfood everything, I think this is a good one to prioritize. Especially as we are promoting cross-platform in our marketing material. Cc @lukeheath.
