Discontinuation of flutter_map_marker_popup & flutter_map_supercluster
What do you want implemented?
Hi, as it is very likely that flutter_map_marker_popup will not be continued anymore (https://github.com/rorystephenson/flutter_map_marker_popup/pull/86#issuecomment-2833436517) I wanted to ask if there is a native way to create popup dialogs on tapping a marker.
Would it be possible to adopt/integrate that plugin or is there another way to achieve this?

Hey @rorystephenson, hope you're all good. I wanted to make sure that you're looking for someone else to take over your plugin? Obviously we can't guarantee anything on our side, but maybe we can advertise for a little while or potentially transfer the repo into our org (with you as a collaborator or something like that). I don't personally have the time either to do any proper maintenance, but there's a chance we could manage version upgrades only - again, no guarantees ofc. Ideally we would keep it under external maintenance, but it's better to have the plugin than none at all!
In terms of adding something like this to the core, I don't think it's likely for now - as I've already said, we've got maintenance constraints, especially right now, and some existing plans for the future. But it's a possibility, and maybe there's something we can do to reduce the amount of duplication of FM code in the plugin right now.

Asking for other maintainers != abandoning. I spent a lot of time on these plugins back in the day and whilst I'm not actively developing them anymore I'm trying to merge PRs and keep them up to date when I can.
