option to mark all-day location events as "busy"

Open flavorjones opened this issue 6 years ago • 3 comments

As someone who's going on vacation I want to mark my calendar as completely busy all day So people know I'm not available

This is probably just a flag on the location set command, e.g.

calendar-assistant location set work --busy "Sipping Mai Tais" 2019-10-01...2019-10-05

or

calendar-assistant location set work -b "Sipping Mai Tais" 2019-10-01...2019-10-05

It would also be interesting to explore how this might work with the new "OOO" functionality that the web UI presents.

FWIW: the open issue with google over the lack of API functionality around OOO is here:

https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/112063903

Subscribe and star it to let google know they should add it to the API

LOL it took five years but Google finally supports OOO/Focus Time events via the API:
