On our system, while atop was showing ~2% of disk busy, perfstat was alarming 4K%. Other indication of disk IO were very low too, indicating there is an issue there....

Fix a memory leak of aprox. 500MB/hour

After launching perfstat on my server, I observed a continuous increment of rss memory (luckly, perfstat detected its own memory leak too!).
