Open URI with mime-type

I discovered that AppInfo::get_default_for_type doesn't work from inside a flatpak. This is very unfortunate as the desktop portal defaults to opening http(s) URIs in the browser.

My use-case is opening enclosures of feeds, which mostly are images, video or audio. In addition to the URI I have the mime-type available. Instead of opening images in eye of gnome and audio/video in totem everything opens up in the browser with launch_default_for_uri.

An option to provide a mime-type and have the desktop-portal fire up the system default application that supports URIs would be welcome.
